WooCommerce released version 11.2.1 on October 9, 2026, a dot release that fixes two checkout regressions introduced in 11.2.0 just two days earlier. The first regression hit stores that remove address fields using the woocommerce_billing_fields or woocommerce_default_address_fields filters: on 11.2.0, affected stores could see the checkout blocked with a “Please enter an address to continue” message, tax charges missing, or shipping options disappearing. The second regression broke postcode validation in the Checkout block — Argentine postcodes without the province letter, plus formats for El Salvador, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and the British Virgin Islands, were wrongly rejected. The release is not a security update and requires no database update.
The parent release, WooCommerce 11.2.0 (October 7), added genuinely useful features: the Product CSV importer can now match rows by GTIN, UPC, EAN, or ISBN when no product ID or SKU is supplied; the Additional Checkout API gained date fields for collecting information like birthdays or preferred delivery dates; and stores can now configure the new emails for order withdrawal requests.
If you run WooCommerce, update to 11.2.1 and test your checkout end to end — a broken checkout silently loses sales. Qamar Digital Ventures LLC’s website care plans include update management and checkout testing, so releases like this get handled without costing you revenue.
